Paradise Lagoon
During this expedition, we will discover Mauritius from an entirely new perspective! The view from the ocean to the island is entirely different than from the land. It’s an extraordinary feeling as the motorboat glides over the ocean, and the sea salt lingering in the air is simply indescribable! Additionally, the view of the beautiful lagoon, stretching from Tamarin to Le Morne on the southeast coast, is breathtaking.
The main attraction, besides the picturesque landscapes, is the opportunity for snorkeling with dolphins and admiring whales (from June to September). Meeting dolphins is a daily occurrence here. The underwater view of these magnificent creatures in their natural environment is an experience worth having at least once in a lifetime.
After an exciting dolphin observation, we will head to Ile Benitiez Island, where we will savor a traditional Mauritian barbecue meal prepared on the grill, to the rhythm of Sega music. There will also be an opportunity to purchase souvenirs from local traders offering various items from their “water stalls.”
Trip Itinerary:
Departure – 7:00 or earlier depending on the hotel
Snorkeling with dolphins (mask and snorkel swimming)
Stop at Crystal Rock (a world-class phenomenon)
“Plaging” and barbecue on Ile Benitez Island
Return through the beautiful coral reef at Le Morne Peninsula
Price includes a private motorboat, drinks, and a traditional Mauritian BBQ lunch on the island.
